The Open Access Survey was created as part of the Open Access Academy (OAA). The OAA was created in response to the lack of information among students and young researchers about scientific publishing and Open Access.

OAA has a mission to provide resources, support and advice for students and early stage researchers in their journey from writing to publishing their scientific papers.

Before we begun implementing the mission of OAA we created a survey to measure the awareness of Open Access publishing among students and early stage researchers. The results of the survey are presented in this “Open Access Academy Survey Report”.
